Sheffield Park Gardens originally formed part of the estate of the adjacent Sheffield Park House. It was originally laid out in the 18th century by Lancelot (Capability) Brown, and further developed in the early years of the 20th century. The gardens (but not the house) are now owned by the National Trust. They are particularly noted for their autumn colours.
