This large field dotted with trees both large and small, old and young, is now open access land, below the part of the hill named Jarrett's Brow. Beyond this field, the gradient steepens greatly. The hill, an outlier of the Cotswold escarpment, is surmounted by a multivallate hillfort, one of only two in Warwickshire. The fort is a scheduled ancient monument and there is a great deal of detail at:- http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1011372
