A section of A61 between Baldersby and Skipton on Swale. The A61 is a major route for much of its length linking Derby with Chesterfield, Sheffield, Wakefield, Leeds and Harrogate, but at this northern end it becomes more of a local road with most northbound traffic using the nearby A168.
