Devised to celebrate the RA Diamond Jubilee, the walk follows the general route taken by Prince Charles Edward Stuart on his march in 1745 from Ashbourne to Derby, through woods and farmland. Links with the Centenary Way (Derbyshire) at Ashbourne. This is near Markeaton, on the western outskirts of Derby.
