A track runs down off the hill to a pass across the limestone ridge of the Ludlow anticlyne. The fields here are rare survivors, much of the farmland within Bringewood has been planted with trees now. (Aston Common, High Vinnalls Farm, Sunny Dingle Cottages; Haye Park is no longer farmed but as so far avoided being planted up).
