At one time this was part of a small lane that joined Daws Hill Lane just north of here but the M40 got built over the junction. The lane is still open to vehicles as far as a property entrance just behind where I'm standing, but the last bit of road is redundant and now looks like this. A through way on foot is still available at the end via the steps shown here [[719438]]
