The water level of this Pond is higher than normal due to days of heavy rain and the land hereabouts flooded. This satellite view http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm?lat=54.174&lon=-3.137&gz=17&oz=8>=2 shows the other extreme with the Pond dried out.
