This part of the forest is in the Wyre Forest National Nature reserve, managed by the quango "Natural England". In August 2009 the organisation advertised for 12 Health Walks Delivery Officers. These officers were also be offer walks "from beginner level". Whether these will be available in the Wyre Forest is unknown. Meanwhile they have been sprinkling the forest with these signs, which appear to be identical, apart from the "You are Here" indicator. One of the car parks indicated on this board is non-existent, and never likely to be in existence, as the location is nowhere near any road. Obviously a "Car Park Delivery Officer" is urgently required.
