King's How, a part of Grange Fell lies in mid-Borrowdale in the English Lake District. The view is to the south where a heathery knoll occupies the near foreground; beyond it lie fields with the small village of Rosthwaite at their centre. Bessyboot is the apparently bulky hill beyond Rosthwaite but the much more significant mountain, Glaramara is hidden by mist and the haze of drizzle.
