Long Causeway Plantation, Carlisle

Autumnal trees across field

Uploader's Comments

The view is eastwards from the side of the A68 a few kilometres south from Jedburgh. A number of fields in the vicinity seem to be 'hedged' with fully sized trees; that could be by intent, perhaps to create shelter belts, or that standard hedges have been neglected and allowed to 'overgrow'.
