Having chosen to land and make camp some way down Loch Buie from its head, it proved easier to visit the head of the Loch on foot. Goat paths soon develop into a proper track, but when a good beach developed, I chose to walk along the shore. Camas nan Caorach is the sandy part of the beach a little beyond the shingle beach where Allt nan Seann Tighean debouches into the Loch. In shade on the right can be seen the much-restored chapel of [[[404262]]] reached by a good track from the public road at Lochbuie.
