The landscape of the east side of South Harris is quite remarkable as it is an ice scoured lowland area of bare Lewisian Gneiss rock with peat bog [generally very wet] between and with a maze of small lochs and water channels. This view could be anywhere in the area, but was taken within a few yards of my other photo in this square and looks north-west along the grain of the rocks towards Bulabhal.
