There are many paths through the woodland of the Park, some muddier than others after a rather wet summer. The large arrow attached to the tree indicates the route for runners taking part in the Clarendon Marathon, which follows the Clarendon Way Long Distance Path. The 2012 event was to take place the day after this picture was taken.
