Carrying the Heart of Wessex railway line. The road, which has run beside the railway embankment for some distance (see [[[4842435]]]) has turned here to cross the narrow Avon valley and climb to Winsley. A parapet of Stokeford Bridge over the river can be seen on the extreme right.
