Village green at Laughterton

Uploader's Comments

Laughterton is a village astride the A1133 which is the road extending away from the green. The green is a small affair with trees, wooden posts and a memorial which can be seen at the right side of the image. The memorial commemorates the crew of a Short Stirling aircraft, killed when it crashed on 21 June 1944. The remains of the plane's airscrew form part of the monument.
