Lanimer Burn, South Lanarkshire

Winter sunlight on Scaut Hill

This view looks across the ravine called The Dimple (the 1:50000 map places this name in the wrong place - it is correctly placed on the 1:25000 map since it is the "deep ravine on the east side of Tinto through which the Lanimer Burn flows, the ascent steep on all sides" (as per the 19th Century Ordnance Survey name book)).
