The traffic signal and CCTV camera enforce and monitor single-file working for motor traffic over this Callender-Hamilton bridge across the River Eden. Pedestrians and cyclists can use the walkway at the left. The yellow bike at the approach is one of many in the village marking the route of the Aviva Tour of Britain on 10 September 2015.
