Carved stone post by the B6274, in parish of GAINFORD (TEESDALE District), 500m S of Alwent Farmhouse, between rise and bends, nr start of flush kerb, on East side of road. Staindrop stone Erected by the Winston Bridge turnpike trust in the 19th century.
