Archbishop's Park

Uploader's Comments

Originally part of the grounds of Lambeth Palace, it was opened to the public by Archbishop Tait following his appointment. Known as Lambeth Palace Field it remained open for public use after his death and in 1900 when it was made a public park. It officially opened as Archbishop's Park in 1901. This is the children's playground within the park. The park also includes enclosed football pitches.
