Machermore's Millstone can be found on Millstone Howe. The outline of the partly shaped millstone is visible in the centre of the picture, still attached to the bedrock at its lower righthand quarter (and presumably its rear surface.) I wonder why the job of chipping it off the rock was stopped at this stage after so much work had already gone into it?
