Knoutberry Hill, County Durham

Tarn near summit of Knoutberry Hill

Uploader's Comments

Knoutberry Hill is a very minor rise along the watershed between the rivers Tyne and Wear. This small pool stands beside the peat bank given an altitude of 668m; it may well be the highest point on the hill. The moorland hill seen distantly is Killhope Law which lies across the head of Weardale.
