St Michael and All Angels Church in Kniveton is an attractive small Grade 1 listed building with Norman porch and nave and fourteenth century chancel. It has an early English font with later inscription. Fragments of early stained glass are to be found in the sanctuary window including the Kniveton family coat of arms. An ancient primitive crucifix of unknown origin is located in the south wall.
