Knipe Scar, Cumbria

On top of Knipe Scar (342m)

The scar is a limestone plateau with a steep western flank overlooking the Lowther Valley. On a clear day the views across the eastern Lakeland fells is superb. Today, we were just lucky to get a clearing in the low cloud which kept drifting over the top.
