Claughton Hall

Uploader's Comments

The hall is c.1600 with C15th remains, moved to this site and rebuilt in 1932-5 incorporating wooden cruck beams from a barn in Herefordshire. It used to be sited near the village church and part was left behind as Claughton Hall Farm. It is a Grade II listed building http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-182367-claughton-hall-claughton Due to the dense screen of hedges alongside the boundary this was the only glimpse we got from the bridleway running below.
