A small tarn close to the summit of Killhope Law on the County Durham/Northumberland boundary; the pool will be entirely in Co. Durham. Also in view are the trig point, a large cairn and a tall wooden pole which the OS. mark on their 1:25 000 map as an aerial - unless very well disguised, it isn't one!
