Jivy Geo, Shetland Islands

West and South of the North Light from the Shetland to Fair Isle flight

Uploader's Comments

Descending on the flight path for a North-east to South-west landing on the Fair Isle strip provides a close view of the north east corner of Fair Isle. Visible is the North Light beyond which are the Stacks of Skroo, and nearer the coast the gash in the moorland of the Kirn of Skroo which leads to the sea by two underground tunnels. Nine seater Islander aircraft operated by Direct Flight provide the air link to Fair Isle from Tingwall close to Lerwick.
