The Blue Pool is fed by Kimberhead artesian spring. Until recently the public were permitted access after making a small donation into an honestly box. Alas, as the barbed wire implies access to the pool is not allowed any more. The 'Doll's House' cottage in the picture was reputedly built for the nearby Bradfield Hall. It was supposed to be a life sized replica of a toy owned by a daughter of the house who 'never grew up.' At one stage the springs fed a flourishing water-cress farm.
