Three of the greylag geese which have chosen to make Tiree their home rather than flying to Iceland in the spring. Greylags and barnacle geese overwinter on Tiree and damage grassland, so the last thing that most farmers want is for the geese to hang around for the summer as well. Just one barnacle goose was spotted during a week long stay in May, but greylags probably amounted to over a hundred.
