Horsehouse, North Yorkshire

Village of Horsehouse, Coverdale

Uploader's Comments

The church of St.Botolph and the conveniently close 'Thwaite Arms' pub dominate the scene in this quiet small village which is said to have taken its name from the pack-horses and the London to Richmond stage coaches which were rested here.
