This footpath leads from Cranbrook to the village of Sissinghurst and here it enters Hilly Wood on the left which it passes through on a well-defined path. After weeks of rain, all the paths hereabouts were extremely muddy but the path through the wood was actually better than most. The gate on the right along the muddy track leads through Well Wood to Buckhurst Farm.
