The upper slope now sports a stubble-like growth of young, native trees in their protective plastic sleeves. We saw another area similarly planted on nearby High Wether Howe and evidence of recent fencing for possible planting in the gill below here. Quite a few of the sleeves seemed to have been blown off and strewn down the slope below so someone really ought to go back and replace them. It's a hard enough spot for trees to thrive without the attentions of sheep and deer.
