This is the view from the footpath which leaves Shirehall Road at the south-eastern corner of Hawley. It looks across the Darent Valley to the wooded Badger's Mount on the far side, just left of centre. In the hedgerow can be seen clusters of the fluffy seeds of traveller's joy, also known as old man's beard, or at this time of year, Father Christmas.
