Early morning on Niddry Bing,Winchburgh

Uploader's Comments

There are three oil-shale bings close to the village of Winchburgh. Niddry Bing is now only half its former height as the shale is being removed primarily for use as hardcore in road construction. The largest bing of the three is Greendykes Bing, seen in the distance.
