A complex image: here Little Punchard Gill is crossed by an estate road seen moving right out of the photo, the bed of Little Punchard Gill is dry upstream and can be seen to the left. The water of the stream has emerged close to the ford and an attempt appears to have been made by the estate to block that emergence with posts and bags of cement/concrete; however it still emerges nearby, a little to the right of the bags. Originally there has been a bridge at this location and the walling of both the W. and E. side buttresses can be seen.
