The ridge of which the outcrops are part is that dividing Easedale and Far Easedale; the ridge continues to rise westwards, (left in the image), to Tarn Crag. The hill in the middle distance is Helm Crag whilst the far ridge connects Heron Pike with Great Rigg and Fairfield.
