Cutting on former Forres to Grantown railway

Uploader's Comments

Opened in 1863 and closed in 1965, this was part of the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway. This section was on the main line from Inverness to the south until superseded in 1898 by the present direct line from Inverness to Aviemore. The boundary of the Cairngorms National Park crosses the old railway here.
