In the foreground, the top of the Lancet Edge, in the background, bits of snow on the top on the Long Leachas of Ben Alder. Looks a nice easy walk across. Pity about the 300m reascent via the Bealach Dubh. If you decide to go south west, however, you can have a superb high level walk taking in four summits if you include Carn Dearg on the way back. (Hint, bypass Geal-Charn on the way out from the top of the Lancet Edge and pick it up on the way back.)
