The path that is shown on the right in [[3497283]] leads to this area. The paths fade out in this area; the 1:50000 and 1:25000 maps show this boundary and woodland edge. The remains of a dry-stone wall can also be seen here; in this picture, the line of the old wall, though not very conspicuous, recedes directly from the photographer's position, running parallel to the fence.
