Formerly part of Garlogie Mill and converted in 1931 (as per date-stone below the Diocletian (semi-circular) window. The date of 1987 presumably refers to a refurbishment when it was planned to open a 'power museum' featuring what is said to be the only in situ beam engine remaining in Scotland.
