About as good a view as can be obtained from outside the site. This is the Gale Common ash disposal site. Ash is pumped as slurry from Eggborough and Ferrybridge Power Stations into lagoons on site. After settling, it is transferred up onto the waste tip. Spoil from Kellingley Colliery is also tipped on site.
