We stopped to admire this view in 1972 (I must find the photo) just before moving permanently to Devon, and have been back many times. This is where a very steep double bend takes the lane up past Furzeleigh Plantation, and a path leads away between it and Bearacleave Wood. The view is over Parke to Dartmoor.
