Ruins at South Holm

Uploader's Comments

There is not a lot left of the buildings and enclosures that were once the busy village of South Holm. The settlement was built in the late 17th century, but was completely deserted by 1875. It is worth noting that most of the houses are built on a considerable slope, so to achieve a level floor inside, the interiors must have had steps. The layout of the buildings show up better from the clifftop above, see [[[2733436]]].
