A view to Bodelwyddan Castle from the park (seen from grid square SJ0074). The castle as seen today is mostly a Victorian facade but covers a core that could possibly date back to the 13th century. Archaeologists have found Roman remains on the site, and suspect they relate to a settlement adjacent to the nearby Roman road.
