Elmdon: plaster, tiles, flint and a blue sky

Uploader's Comments

Just before one o'clock on a brilliantly sunny Christmas Day. The flint tower of St Nicholas's Church dates from the 15th century, but the rest is the result of 19th- and 20th-century restorations. It is Grade II* listed: http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-121725-church-of-st-nicholas-elmdon-essex .
