A view from the route with public access above Elcombe Hollow. A field boundary leads away; the two gates, could they be opened, would lead into a strip of access land along some of the steepest part of the valley slopes. The white tents are in [[SU9822]] at the site of the Chalke Valley History Festival, due to take place the following week.
