Having set off just at high tide to make getting here easier ([[1794624]]), we had the added benefit of almost slack tide in the western channel into Loch Teacuis, and much sunnier conditions than on my last visit [[1231915]]. There are skerries just ahead, favoured hauling out rocks for seals, but at high tide, they would be off hunting somewhere, no doubt basking in the sun later as the tide exposes more area of rock.
