A path enters Easedale from Grasmere's Easedale Road passing this bridge on the way towards Sour Milk Gill and Easedale Tarn. The current bridge was constructed in 1997 and so is not, presumably, the original New Bridge. Helm Crag is the hill rising in the distance.
