Stone circle, Borrowston Rig

Uploader's Comments

This 'stone setting' dated to the 2nd millennium BC is described in 'Exploring Scotland's Heritage' by John R Baldwin, HMSO 1985. It comprises 32 small stones arranged in two circular segments whose dimensions are thought to be based on the 'megalithic yard' equal to 0.829 modern yards.
