Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of Horningsham (West Wiltshire District), Longleat Park, Park Hill Screen, 1km W of East entrance, on East side of road. Longleat iron plate, erected by the estate in the 18th century. Inscription reads Longleat / Houfe / 1 Mile. //, carved benchmark front bottom right; Grade II listed by Historic England.
