Looking to the left from the same spot as [[[4830931]]]. The C17 thatched cottage is described at https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1221222 . Below it on the right, Dartington Footpath 17 leaves the green at Stale and heads towards the A385 at Lower Tweed Mill. On the right is Old Staple; see other photo.
